 KINDERMUSIK WITH KIDSBEAT

Choosing A Class:  The age recommendations outlined for Kindermusik classes have been carefully constructed to best group children in an age and developmentally appropriate way.  Therefore, it is important that your child be at least the minimum age by the start of the semester for the class in which you are enrolling.  If you have concerns about your child?s success in a particular age range.  We are happy to discuss your child?s needs and to work with you to place him in the class best suited for him.

Free Preview Classes:  At certain times throughout the year, we are happy to offer free preview classes before semesters begin. Please call for availability.

Register Early:  Although you may join our classes at any time, please register early since class sizes are limited and many fill quickly.  Registering at least three weeks before the semester begins also ensures that I will have your child?s materials for you at your first class.

Enrollment Confirmation:  A registration form and  designated payment must be received before enrollment can be confirmed.  You will receive a phone call or e-mail two weeks before classes begin.

Refunds:  Tuition refunds or credit vouchers may be given if there are extenuating circumstances requiring withdrawal from class.  All refund requests will be considered on an individual basis.  The cost of ?Home Materials? and a $10.00 processing fee are non-refundable as well as any classes already taken not paid for (tuition is $10.00 per class excluding home materials). No refunds will be issued for classes missed after semester begins but you are able to make up classes at other locations. We will pro-rate your semester if you know before semester begins what weeks you will be out of town, etc.

Make-up Classes: If schools are closed due to bad weather, we will not have classes at any studio that day. Classes will be made up in the event of teacher illness or inclement weather.  We will notify you of the cancellation and the scheduled make-up day.  Students who miss a class may make up that class. Simply call in advance to schedule make-ups at another class location.. You may make up to two classes a semester.  If another class is not offered in your child's age group on another day,there will be a special class day offered at end of semester for makeup - Musictime with Seniors" at Glencove will count as one of these makeup classes.

Non-Enrolled Siblings:  Please try to find a sitter for your other child so you may have that one-on-one time that is so important to you and your child enrolled in class. If your other child is in a baby carrier, it is fine.  I do understand sometimes you cannot arrange your other child to be taken care of, and let me know if this is the case.

Making The Most of Kindermusik Classes:

Plan to arrive about 5-10 minutes early for class. Arriving a little before class provides time for your child to settle in to the musical environment as they prepare to enjoy exploring instruments, reading books, or listening to music.  We do request that toys, juice cups, and pacifiers be kept out of sight, and that snacks be finished prior to class. Be sure to dress comfortably! Please wear non-slip socks or go barefoot for class.

 KidsBeat Studio:  Floor is padded require socks or bare feet. Bathroom facilities and waiting area are available. Please hang purses and diaper bags and place shoes outside of classroom or in corner if raining. Playground area is not available during class time for students.

 Gulf Beach Baptist: Please place diaper bags, cups and toys and shoes outside of classroom. You may place your car keys and purse inside room beside table and we will cover up so those little fingers won?t play with them! Bathroom facilities are available and diaper changing table as well as sitting area outside the classroom. Playground area not available to KM students.

Lynn Haven Community Center: Don?t forget slip socks for children as there is a linoleum floor as well as carpeted areas for class.  There will be a designated area for shoes, diaper bags, juices and all personal belongings.  Restroom facility is available. Playground area is available for KM students.

Glencove Nursing Pavillion:  Enter building and go to 1^st floor room to left (Dayroom).  Seniors will be observing as well as participating in class and will be in wheel chairs in a circle around us.  Please place bags,etc. on top of designated table area and shoes in designated area.  Restroom available.  Area is carpeted.

Parents please read this!

During Class, the most important thing you can do for your child is to be an active and patient role model.  It is not uncommon for a child to attend several classes before feeling comfortable in class.  Don?t be discouraged - what a child is absorbing in class is often evidenced in the comfort of the home environment rather than in a certain level of participation in class.  The understanding and consistency of the parent or caregiver in class and at home are key to facilitating musical learning and growth.

You and your child will enormously benefit from the Kindermusik experience, especially if you make active use of your At Home Materials.  Frequent reinforcement at home throughout the week makes all the difference in a child?s comfort and participation in the classroom.

Safety Request:

Please make sure your child is not running in class with an instrument  and you are by their side at all times, watching for their safety especially in Village, Sign and Sing or Our Time class. Thanks!

Health Policy:  Please do not bring your child to class if your child as run a fever in the last 24 hours. 

Returned Check Fee: There is a $20.00 return fee for all checks.

Furthermore, I release any and all rights and claims for damages against (Kindermusik with KidsBeat and/or staff including any Kindermusik educators or other class assistants instructing classes, in the unlikely event of injury sustained by myself or my child(ren) during the course of or as a result of this musical activity class.

Refund Policy

Studio Refund Policy
Deposits are not refundable, but tuition and materials fees are refundable if we are notified in writing or by email 2 weeks prior to the start of the class.

We understand that occasionally life changes.  Should you move out of the area, we will gladly refund any remaining classes at our discretion.  We reserve the right to make other refunds on a case by case basis.  Please contact your educator for further information.
